Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert Two of country music's hottest young performers will join forces on stage at the Calgary Stampede next July. Both Lambert and Aldean played a significant role in the recently held Country Music Association awards in Nashville. Lambert was a nominee in the Female Vocalist of the Year category while Aldean had the opportunity to perform his No. 1 hit "Big Green Tractor." Though known for his unapologetic, southern-rock style, Aldean's musical influences also reflect the more traditional end of the country music spectrum. Meanwhile, Lambert's releases in 2005 and 2007 both debuted at No 1 on the Country Music charts.
